Kerala, known as God’s own country is a state in the south-west region in the Malabar Coast. Kerala being the twelfth largest state in the country became the first state to be recognised as the completely literate state in 1991.

Colleges in Kerala are affiliated to different Universities in the State. There are many of them that facilitate high quality education for the young student population in Kerala. There are also Colleges in Kerala which are affiliated to Central Universities and universities located in other states. There are linguistic colleges that are affiliated to The English and Foreign Languages University. Arts and science, Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, B.Ed. Kerala follows admission procedures that is followed in the rest of the country. The eligibility criteria for admission to the degree courses is a pass in the +2 or Higher Secondary examination.
For Professional colleges the eligibility is a pass in the higher secondary with at least 55% marks and also a ranking in the Entrance examination held by state council body for medicine and engineering.
For postgraduate in all the disciplines it is a bachelors’ degree certificate.
