The B.C.S (Bachelors in Computer Science) Courses is an undergraduate program that provides the student an extensive learning opportunity on the subject of computer and its functioning. The course attempts to provide the student an insight into the computer field touching upon the engineering aspect of computers. The B.C.S Courses also available to students in the Honours category in which the student needs to undergo more extensive training in Computer Science. The duration of the B.C.S Courses are usually 3 years made up of 6 semesters. Some of the institutions provide a four year program under which the student is awarded the Honours degree on completion.
Eligibility for B.C.S Courses
As in most undergraduate degree programs the student need to qualify with the concerned subject of Computer Science and Mathematics. The student needs to get 50% marks in the higher Secondary or the 10+ 2 Examination to quality for admission to the B.C.S Courses.
