National Institute of Technology of Madhya Pradesh is situated at Bhopal. The college is established in the year 1960 and then it was named as Maulana Azad College of Technology. It was among the first few Regional Engineering Colleges of India. The college is upgraded into National Institute of Technology in the year 2001 and it was declared as Institute of National Importance. With the motto ‘Knowledge is the greatest Jewel’, the college has provided higher education for more than four thousand students. The college is popular with the acronym MANIT.

For the admission into Undergraduate programs students must pass 10+2 with the subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English with above 60% and must attain All India Rank in JEE Main. For the admission into M.Tech., GATE score is considered. NIMCET score for MCA and CAT score for MBA are considered for the admission.
