Unmarried Indian national male are eligible to apply. Minimum age limit is 15 and maximum age limit is 18. Educational qualification is passing 10th or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with minimum 65% marks or passing 10+2 or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks. Physical standards are height – 157cms, chest expansion – 5 cms, visual standard – 6/12 (without glasses) and 6/9 (with glasses). No permanent tattoos are permitted except on down side of the hand between elbow and reverse side of palm.
Indian Navy Artificer Apprentices Exam Pattern
The selection procedure includes written test, Physical Fitness Test, Police Verification and Final medical examination.
Written test is conducted objective type and questioned in bilingual – Hindi and English. The subjects covered in test are English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The standard of the syllabus is as per 10+2. Candidates must qualify in all sections separately and in aggregate. Those who qualify in written test are eligible for Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT include running, squat ups and push-ups. Proficiency in sports/swimming or any extra-curricular activities are desired.
Selected Candidates are provided with Police Verification form with the call letter for Final Medical Examination. Without the Police Verification form filled by the concerned police authority or with the report with negative comments, the candidates are not eligible for final medical examination.

Candidates must apply online through the official websites. Candidates must be ready with matric certificate and 10+2 mark sheet for reference. On filling the form and submitting, candidates must take two copies of print out of the online application form. One duly signed copy must be sent to mentioned address along with attested copies of matriculation certificate, 10+2 mark sheet, domicile, NCC Certificate (if participated) and one self addressed envelope with Rs 10 stamp affixed and recently taken clear passport size photograph.
