The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Hotel Management (WBJEE HM) mainly aims at selection of candidates for the various hotel management colleges of the state of West Bengal. The candidates who wish to enter into a field of hotel management has to complete bachelors in hotel management. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board holds the entrance exam for various other courses on UG and PG level. The main thing about entrance exam is that it is a state level test conducted on yearly basis, mostly during the month of July.
WBJEE HM Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
Those who wish to appear for WBJEE HM needs to have cleared their plus two schooling from any reputed institute with minimum qualifying mark. WBJEE HM Entrance Exam syllabus
The entrance exam syllabus mainly covers the aptitude level topics including reasoning and mathematics, general knowledge and basics of the English language. As the applicants are of higher secondary level, the mathematics of that level is to be learned for the test. The awareness about current affairs, history, sports and many others constitute the general knowledge.
How to apply for WBJEE HM Entrance Exam
The application forms along with the information brochures that explain how to apply are given on the official website. The bank challan for depositing the application fees will also be available online. On completion of form filling, a confirmation page and e-challan will be formed. This has to be used in paying an amount 0f 506 at any branches of Allahabad bank. The duly filed application with a copy of e-challan enclosed in an A4 size envelope should be sent to the registrar, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board office. The application should reach the office before the last date mentioned by means of post or courier. Retaining a copy of the sent application form can be used for future reference by the candidate.
WBJEE HM Entrance Exam Pattern
The entrance exam pattern consists of multiple choice objective questions that has to be answered in a duration of one hour. The test is conducted under three sections like English Language, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. The correct answers are to be marked on the OMR sheet provided.
