About UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam

The UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam is a common entrance test conducted for the admission to various courses like MCA, B. Pharm and B. Tech. Conducted by the Uttarakhand Technical University, which is located in Dehradun, the entrance test is an assessment for students aspiring got acquire admission to the different government colleges in Uttarakhand and also for the self-financing educational institution located in the state of Uttarakhand. Students seek admission to the first year of the MCA course, the Second year of the B. Pharm Course and the B. Tech course. The test provides an opportunity for students who missed out on gaining admission to the Pharmaceutical and Engineering courses in the previous year. The UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam is usually conducted across the country and all the students of Uttarakhand are facilitated.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for the UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam is based on the course for which the admission is sought as in:

  • For engineering and technology courses the examination allows for Lateral Entry to the course, where the students is able to join the Second year of the Engineering degree course.
  • For Pharmacy and hotel Management courses, the students are required to have passed the 10+ 2/ higher secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics as the subjects and must have scored at least 45% marks (SC/ST – 40%) in the examination.
  • For the MCA Course a 3 –year Bachelor’s Degree is essential and should have studied Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level or the Degree level and should have obtained an aggregate of 50% (SC/ ST 45%) in the examination. Students having scored an aggregate of 50% (SC/ ST 45%) in the BCA degree or the B.Sc. (Comp. Sc. / IT) are also eligible for lateral entry to the MCA course on successfully passing the UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam.

Entrance Exam Syllabus

The UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam is based on the science subjects at the 10 + 2/ Higher Secondary level and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics are usually tested. These subjects are common for all the applications of the UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam. The Entrance exam syllabus for the Aptitude Test usually varies according to the course applied for.

How to apply

The application procedure for the UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam includes an application form that must be bought and filled up and submitted along with the required documents. The application fee is Rs.1000/- for General and OBC categories of candidates and for the SC/ ST it is Rs.500/-. A service charge of Rs.125/- also needs to be paid.

Entrance Exam Pattern

The Entrance Exam Pattern of the UKSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam consists of 9 papers with objective type questions of 1 mark each. Each paper carries 75 marks and the duration for all the papers is 1 hour 30 minutes except for Paper 1 and 5 which is of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
