Oriya or Odia is majorly spoken in the state of Odisha of India and is spoken minor
in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, West Bengal and Jharkhand. The language
is recognized as the second official language of Jharkhand and as the sixth Classic
Language of India. The language has its roots deep into the history and it has the

the passing score in National Eligibility Test (NET) are the required qualification
for being a Lecturer or Assistant Professor. The higher degree Ph.D. enables one
to be a professor. The opportunities are found in both government and private organizations.
The salary in the private field depends on the experience. The basic salary for
a fresh graduate in private organizations is around Rs. 7000/-per month and above
