About LL.M Course

The course is offered with several specializations such as Family law, Human Rights, Jurisprudence, Taxation Law, Insurance Law etc. The two years course is divided into four semesters. Comparative Public Law, Law and Justice in a Globalizing World, Comparative Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, and the papers of specialization areas are the major subjects of the course.

Eligibility for LL.M Course

Passing in Bachelor degree in Legislative Law (LLB) with minimum 55% aggregate score is the educational eligibility to apply for LLM. The admission procedure differs from institute to institute. Few institute conduct their own entrance tests where as few other consider the score of certain tests like CLAT and LSAT.

Career Prospect for LL.M Course

Employment offers for LLM graduates are found in both Public and Private sectors. Law firms, Banks, Litigation Firms, Courts, etc are few of the major employment areas. LLM graduates can work as advocates, notary, solicitor, legal advisor, law reporter, Public Prosecutor, legal expert etc. They can also choose teaching and work as lecturers in Law colleges. The pay packages usually starts in 5 digits and few talented earn in 6 digits.
