Completing 10 + 2 with Commerce or Accounting as the optional subject from a recognized board is the minimum educational eligibility for the course B.Com.(Banking). The admission procedure varies from institution to institution. Few colleges conduct admission test or entrance test and interview and take admission as per the score in them where as few other take the admission on the basis of scored percentage in 12th.

B.Com. Banking Career Prospect

Though the course is specialized for Banking, the students of the course get employment opportunities from several financial sectors. Though the students have to attend the recruitment test for Public sector banks, they will be given preference during the recruitment process after clearing the tests. Private Banks, Other financial related companies, Insurance companies, etc are the other employment providers.
